to my very special best friend;
so! it's our first big holiday since we've reconciled, and as i have told you i'm so broke that it's not even funny, but i still want to do something for you to show you how much i love you and how grateful i am that we're friends again, let alone best friends, let alone healthy best friends, something i was afraid wouldn't ever be possible last christmas. and that's not just because of me, or just because of you; it's because we've both changed for the better. and every day, even on the worst ones where it's a battle i lose at least half of the time to get out of bed, i think about you and i smile.

thank you for giving me another chance, for being willing to work through your worries and your fears with me, for being honest about them, for being here for me, and for being a big part of both of us finding something (or rather, someone) to believe in.
